Basketball Recap: Honoka'a Extends Winning Streak to Four

Honoka'a entered their tilt with Ka'u on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Ka'u Trojans by a score of 85-77. That's more bragging rights for the Dragons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Honoka'a pushed their record up to 5-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 85.0 points per game. As for Ka'u, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Honoka'a will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Kealakehe at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Kealakehe's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups.
