Soccer Game Preview: Highlands vs. Edison

Highlands is 2-8 against Edison since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Owls will take on the Golden Bears at 9:00 a.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Highlands is headed into Monday's match following a draw, the team's first since February 3. They and Seguin finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw on Friday.

Meanwhile, Edison's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Seguin.

Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10-3. With that draw, Highlands' record moves to 13-10-4.

Highlands skirted past Edison 1-0 when the teams last played back in February. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Owls since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
