It was a good run, but San Marcos unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 51-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Judson Rockets. While losing is never fun, the Rattlers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 60th, while the Rockets are ranked fifth).

San Marcos' defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 23-7. As for Judson, the win (which was their 25th in a row) raised their record to 32-1.
