Basketball Game Preview: Skyridge Falcons vs. Lone Peak Knights

The Skyridge Falcons will face off against the Lone Peak Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Skyridge is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Utah's top teams: Westlake, who was ranked 16th at the time (Skyridge was ranked 20th). Skyridge took a 59-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Westlake on Friday. The Falcons have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lone Peak). They managed an 81-75 win over Pleasant Grove on Friday.

Lone Peak's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Skyridge, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.

Skyridge beat Lone Peak 56-49 when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Will Skyridge repeat their success, or does Lone Peak have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
