For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Draper APA and Intermountain Christian meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lions. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

While Draper APA won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-18, 25-23.

Draper APA found their leader in sophomore Evie Martinez, who had 12 digs and one assist.

Draper APA was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Intermountain Christian only served six.

Draper APA's win bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Intermountain Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.

Draper APA has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against American Heritage on the 25th. As for Intermountain Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Utah Military Academy - Hill Field on the 25th.
