Volleyball Recap: Southern Comes Up Short

Southern and Northern Garrett squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Southern had to settle for second. They came up short against the Huskies, falling 3-0. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Huskies recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Myah Watson paced Southern's offense, picking up 11 kills. Watson got some help from Avary Witt and her 13 assists. Watson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Southern's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12-1. As for Northern Garrett, the win keeps them at an undefeated 16-0.

Southern does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northern Garrett, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Clear Spring on the 5th.
