Softball Recap: Torrance Takes a Loss

Torrance was the 7-3 winner over South when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Tartars fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 2-1 on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Tartars have lost by just one run.

Torrance is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-8. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only one runs. As for South, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-10 record this season.

Torrance didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-1 win against North on the 23rd. As for South, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 12-1 victory against Wiseburn- Da Vinci on the 21st.
