Volleyball Recap: C.B. Aycock Takes a Loss + How To Watch

C.B. Aycock came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Southern Nash Firebirds.

C.B. Aycock took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-21, 25-23.

Keytah Kermode paced C.B. Aycock's offense, picking up 11 kills. Kermode got some help from Ava Jenkins and her 14 assists. Kermode was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

C.B. Aycock's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Southern Nash, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

C.B. Aycock didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Northern Nash on the 2nd. As for Southern Nash, they have also already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Fike on the 2nd.
