After losing to Corner Canyon the last time they met, Spanish Fork decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Dons walked away with a 40-32 victory over the Chargers on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Dons.

Despite the defeat, Corner Canyon saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Keala Lund dropped a double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Those 12 boards set a new season-high mark for Lund. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklyn Olsen, who posted four points along with ten rebounds and three steals.

Spanish Fork's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Corner Canyon, they dropped their record down to 2-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Spanish Fork will square off against Box Elder at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. The Dons will be up against the Bees' rather soft defense (which has allowed 51.22 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Corner Canyon, they are taking a road trip to take on Springville at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
