After flying high against Finneytown last Wednesday, Deer Park came back down to earth. The Deer Park Wildcats fell victim to a rough 20-3 defeat at the hands of the Wyoming Cowboys on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Deer Park of the 12-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

Cameron Gilreath made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Michael Goebel, who went 1-for-1 with three RBI.
