It was a good run, but Bishop England unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the May River Sharks who were credited with the win. The May River Sharks got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Bishop England Battling Bishops' two. Having soared to a lofty eight goals in the game before, Bishop England couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of LUCAS LOOR, who's now up to nine this season.

Bishop England's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 9-3. As for May River, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-4.

Bishop England wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Wando on the 5th. As for May River, they will square off against Parkview at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Parkview's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
