Volleyball Recap: Farmington Comes Up Short

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Farmington and Fremont, and Fremont kept the tradition alive. The Phoenix fell 3-1 to the Silverwolves on Thursday. If the Phoenix were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Silverwolves when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Farmington started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-19, 25-21, 25-21.

Farmington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Farmington will take on Mountain Ridge at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fremont, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Weber at 6:30 p.m. on the 19th.
