Basketball Recap: Hialeah-Miami Lakes Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hialeah-Miami Lakes can now relate to. They were dealt a 59-22 defeat at the hands of the Jackson Generals on Monday. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Generals recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Jordany Fils-Aime continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Jackson, putting up 14 points and six boards. Fils-Aime is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games he's played. Leonard Clark was another key player, posting seven points and three steals.

Hialeah-Miami Lakes' loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Jackson, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-12.

Hialeah-Miami Lakes does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jackson, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 61-49 defeat against St. Brendan on the 5th.
