Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lakeview). Their defense stepped up to hand the Madison Dragons a 10-0 shutout on Saturday. It was an even better day for Isbella Stromberg as she scored three goals for her team.

The win got Lakeview back to even at 4-4. As for Madison, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakeview will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Plattsmouth at 5:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Madison, they will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Concordia at 5:00 p.m. Madison will be up against Concordia's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.78 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
