Softball Preview: Bremond Tigers vs. Junction Eagles
For the second straight game, Bremond will face off against Junction. The Tigers will challenge the Eagles on Saturday. Bremond knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Junction likes a good challenge.
Bremond is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They were the clear victors by an 11-5 margin over Junction. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by six runs or more this season.
Mya Wortham made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. Wortham was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in March.
