Section 2 D Top Player Performances of the Week
Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Saturday's  football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!
Nick Jeckel Dazzles in Warrensburg/Lake George/Bolton Victory
 Warrensburg/Lake George/Bolton picked up their sixth consecutive win   on Saturday thanks in part to  Nick Jeckel. Jeckel was dynamite, rushing for 58 yards and two touchdowns, while also picking up 50 receiving yards and a touchdown. He is  on a roll when it comes to  rushing touchdowns, as he's  now  punched in two or more in the last three games he's  played dating back to last season.
 Warrensburg/Lake George/Bolton's win was  their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 6-0. Jeckel and Warrensburg/Lake George/Bolton will face off against Rensselaer/Loudonville Christian at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday.

Avery Osborne Turns in Season-Best  Performance
 On Saturday, Warrensburg/Lake George/Bolton got the W thanks in part to  Avery Osborne playing the best football he has all season. Osborne rushed for 68 yards and two touchdowns. The  effort  marked the most  rushing yards  he has had since back in September of 2023. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D,  picking up  a  sack and making two total tackles.
 This season,  Osborne  has run in 5 touchdowns while averaging 22.8 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season,  he had one  rushing touchdown.

Callanan Made His Presence Known in Stillwater's  28-21 Loss
  Aidan Callanan posted a new career-high in  rushing yards  on Saturday. He rushed for 125 yards, and also threw for 143 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 passes.
 Stillwater is  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-4. Callanan and Stillwater will get a bit of extra time to process the  defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Rensselaer/Loudonville Christian at 4:00  p.m.  on October 25th.

 Winning always takes teamwork, but  on Saturday  Preston Peabody stepped things up a notch to give Cambridge/Salem the 'W'. Peabody was dynamite, rushing for 53 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.
 Cambridge/Salem pushed their record up to 5-1 with the  win, which was their sixth straight  at home dating back to last season. Peabody and Cambridge/Salem will challenge Greenwich at 7:00  p.m.  on Saturday.

Nehemiah Costine Makes It Two for Stillwater
 The second Stillwater player making an appearance here is  Nehemiah Costine, and for good reason. He picked up 85 receiving yards and a touchdown.all of that, receiving production came thanks to one massive catch
 This year,  Costine  has averaged 76 rushing yards per game.
