Basketball Game Preview: North Forsyth Vikings vs. Reidsville Rams

North Forsyth is 1-6 against Reidsville since December of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The North Forsyth Vikings will be playing in front of their home fans against the Reidsville Rams at 7:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

North Forsyth is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Wednesday. They fell 68-59 to Morehead.

Despite the defeat, North Forsyth got top-tier performance from Kerry Smith, who went 10 for 21 on his way to 25 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Frankie Mabe, who posted eight points.

Meanwhile, Reidsville put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by T.W. Andrews to the tune of 87-58. The Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 20 points or more this season.

North Forsyth's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Reidsville, they pushed their record up to 15-0 with the win, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.

North Forsyth was taken down by Reidsville 78-28 when the teams last played back in December of 2024. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point North Forsyth was down 57-12.
