Softball Recap: Georgia School for Innovation & Classics Patriots vs. Glascock County Panthers
Georgia School for Innovation & Classics was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 8-5 to the Glascock County Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Patriots of the 14-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture on September 3rd.
Aimee Brown made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Layken Derrick, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
Georgia School for Innovation & Classics' loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Glascock County, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-5.
