Football Recap: Claremont Takes a Loss

After flying high against Alta Loma last Tuesday, Claremont came back down to earth. The Wolfpack were beaten by the Linfield Christian Lions 52-13 on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Wolfpack can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 61st, while the Lions are ranked 15th).

Claremont's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Linfield Christian, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-0.

Looking ahead, Claremont will be playing in front of their home fans against Glendora at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Linfield Christian, they will be taking part in a tournament against Centennial at 12:40 p.m. on Saturday.
