Volleyball Recap: Neighborhood Academy Comes Up Short

Neighborhood Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Deer Lakes Lancers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lancers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Neighborhood Academy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-12, 25-22.

Neighborhood Academy's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Deer Lakes, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 3-0-1.

Coming up, Neighborhood Academy will take on Varsity Opponent at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Deer Lakes, they will challenge Burrell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
