Basketball Game Preview: Lynnfield Pioneers vs. Amesbury Redhawks

The Lynnfield Pioneers will face off against the Amesbury Redhawks at 11:30 a.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Lynnfield's favor as the squad sits on seven straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Amesbury has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

Last Friday, Lynnfield took their matchup with ease, bagging a 67-40 victory over Triton Regional. The Pioneers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 27 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Amesbury played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt an 84-43 defeat at the hands of Manchester Essex. The Redhawks were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-11.

Amesbury's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Lynnfield, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.
