North Miami dropped their record down to 19-4 on Saturday, which also ended the team's six-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Peru Tigers, falling 10-0. The Warriors were red-hot at the plate heading into the match (they scored no less than ten runs in the three games prior), but the Tigers' pitchers proved too tough.

North Miami saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Drew Wright, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

As for Peru, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-8. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won nine contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

On Peru's side, the team relied heavily on Lucas Musser, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. The Tigers are 6-1 when Musser posts two or more runs, but 6-7 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Reis Bellar, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Looking ahead, North Miami will host Caston at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Comets have averaged an impressive 8.9 runs per game this season. As for Peru, they are taking a road trip to face off against Northwestern at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
