Basketball Recap: Jordan's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Park City came into Tuesday's match looking for another win against Jordan, but Holden Warnick wouldn't allow it. The Jordan Beetdiggers walked away with a 50-41 victory over the Park City Miners on Tuesday thanks in part to Warnick, who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine boards. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.3 points per game.

Logan Lockhart was another key player, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in boards.

Despite the loss, Park City still got an impressive performance from Luke Rice, who almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine boards.

Jordan moved to 2-5 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Park City, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Jordan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 61-51 victory against Summit Academy on the 11th. As for Park City, they will square off against Cottonwood at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Cottonwood will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Park City surely won't give up without a fight.
