Soccer Recap: Briarcrest Christian Takes a Loss

Briarcrest Christian lost against Father Ryan back in May of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Saints fell just short of the Irish by a score of 2-1.

Briarcrest Christian's goal came courtesy of George Lundy, who's now up to 11 this season.

Briarcrest Christian dropped their record down to 11-6-1 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Father Ryan, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-9.

Briarcrest Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Father Ryan, they will head out on the road to face off against Montgomery Bell Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Montgomery Bell Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Father Ryan surely won't give up without a fight.
