Basketball Game Preview: Greer Middle College Blazers vs. Chapman Panthers

The Greer Middle College Blazers just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Chapman Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Monday, Greer Middle College came up short against Union County and fell 60-52.

Meanwhile, Chapman didn't have quite enough to beat Broome on Friday and fell 51-49.

Despite the loss, Chapman saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Grayden Humphries posted 22 points. That was a full 44.9% of Chapman's points, marking the third time in a row he's put up more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Hawken Smith, who earned nine points.

Chapman's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Greer Middle College, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5.

Greer Middle College beat Chapman 69-61 in their previous meeting on January 9th. Will Greer Middle College repeat their success, or does Chapman have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
