Baseball Recap: Continental Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Continental's offense. They came up short against the Paulding Panthers on Friday, falling 12-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pirates of the 14-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.

Continental saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Haden Streicher, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Continental has also been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season. As for Paulding, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-6.

Looking ahead, Continental will face off against Holgate at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Paulding, they will take on Delta at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
