Hampshire won the last time they faced McHenry and things went their way on Friday too. The Whip-Purs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 19-17 win over the Warriors. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Whip-Purs.

Tyler Lacke threw for 59 yards on six of 12 attempts. On the ground, Chris Whetstone rushed for 85 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries.

When it comes to explaining why McHenry lost, don't look at Jeffry Schwab. Despite the final result, he rushed for 64 yards and one TD, and also threw for 26 yards and one touchdown.

Hampshire's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for McHenry, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
