Softball Recap: Waupaca Comes Up Short

Waupaca blew Marinette out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Marinette got their revenge. The Comets fell just short of the Marines by a score of 5-3.

Waupaca has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season. As for Marinette, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 2-6 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Waupaca will venture away from home to challenge Shawano Community at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Marinette, they will head out to face off against Clintonville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
