Football Recap: Southeast Lauderdale Finds Home Field Redemption Against Pisgah

There's no place like home for Southeast Lauderdale, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the Pisgah Dragons by a score of 14-7 on Friday.

Despite the loss, Pisgah still got an impressive performance from Tavorian Smith, who rushed for 109 yards and one TD on only nine carries. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 73 yards. Ryder White helped out on the ground, rushing for 128 yards.

Southeast Lauderdale picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-4. As for Pisgah, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Southeast Lauderdale will face off against rival St. Andrew's Episcopal at 9:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Pisgah is set to take on their familiar foe Quitman at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
