Basketball Recap: Lone Grove Takes a Loss

After flying high against Pauls Valley back in December of 2024, Lone Grove came back down to earth. The Lone Grove Longhorns were beaten by the Kingston Redskins 58-22 on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Longhorns in their matchups with the Redskins: they've now lost eight in a row.

Lone Grove's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Kingston, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-2.

Lone Grove didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 59-27 win against Elmore City-Pernell on the 8th. As for Kingston, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 39-32 victory against Latta on the 8th.
