Blake Gimbel and Brandon Pettigrew provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Mason City. The connection went for 72 yards, the longest such play in 4A Division 3 this season.

Marshalltown extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Mohawks, 58-21. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Bobcats.

Marshalltown's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bobcats feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Gimbel has thrown for 3125 yards and 29 touchdowns this season, while De'Quan McDowell has 62 catches for 935 yards. Colten Fuller leads the league in rushing with 238 yards.

The marquee game in 4A Division 3 this week will be the clash between Marshalltown and Dowling. Dave Holdiman's team enters the contest ranked 20th in the state, while the Maroons ranks fourth.

McDowell of the the Bobcats' is a few catches away from breaking 1,000 yards for the season. He needs only 65 receiving yards in this week's game against Dowling to get there.

Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when Marshalltown takes on the Maroons. The Bobcats' offense has recorded 337 points this season, making them No. 1 in the league, while Dowling has permitted only 128 on the year.
