Football Recap: St. Brendan Takes a Loss

St. Brendan managed to slip by Gulliver Prep the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Sabres had to suffer through a 42-0 loss at the hands of the Raiders. The Sabres just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Among those leading the charge was Brendan Beery, who threw for 183 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 80% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (160.4). Leondrez Leonard got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

St. Brendan's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Gulliver Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

As of now, neither St. Brendan nor Gulliver Prep have any future games scheduled.
