Volleyball Recap: Legion Collegiate Academy Falls to Ardrey Kell in First Game of Season

Legion Collegiate Academy kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 2-0 to the Ardrey Kell Knights.

Legion Collegiate Academy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-21.

Ardrey Kell can attribute much of their success to Hayley Rollar, who had 11 digs and two assists. That's the most assists Rollar has posted since back in October of 2024.

Ardrey Kell now has a winning record of 2-1.

Legion Collegiate Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against River Bluff on the 15th. As for Ardrey Kell, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against May River on the 15th.
