Softball Recap: South Side Hornet vs. Heber Springs Panthers        
        
		
            
 After losing to Heber Springs the last time they met, South Side decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The South Side Hornet skirted past the Heber Springs Panthers  8-6.
  Lina Sullivan was  incredible,  scoring two  runs and  stealing three bases while  getting on base  in three of her five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Maggie Bradford, who  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
 South Side's win bumped their record up to 15-6-1. As for Heber Springs, their defeat  ended  an  eight-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 14-2.
 South Side will head out on the road to  square off against  Quitman at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. Quitman is coming into the  contest with six straight  victories at home,  so South Side will have to stop a  team with plenty of momentum. As for Heber Springs, they will be staying on the road  on Friday to face off against Harding Academy at 4:30  p.m. Harding Academy will roll in looking for their  sixth straight  win, something Heber Springs surely won't give up without a fight.
