Volleyball Recap: Sullivan's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Sullivan was the 3-1 winner over Washington when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Golden Arrows fell just short of the Hatchets by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The loss put an end to the Golden Arrows' undefeated start to the season.

Haylee Slaughter paced Sullivan's offense, picking up six kills. Slaughter got some help from Rachel Eslinger and her 17 assists. Jaylen Mccammon controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Among those leading the charge was Jaea Cooper, who had seven digs and two aces. Those two aces gave her a new career-high.

Having lost for the first time this season, Sullivan fell to 3-1. As for Washington, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Sullivan has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Northeast Dubois on the 23rd. As for Washington, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Eastern Greene on the 23rd.
