Softball Recap: North Valleys Panthers vs. Truckee Wolverines

North Valleys stacked an 18th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They blew past the Truckee Wolverines 14-2. North Valleys is really starting to get used to good results now that the team's won 13 straight.

Brittney Byram made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out 11 batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. Byram has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in seven consecutive pitching appearances. Byram was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and a double.

In other batting news, Caylee Soap was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with a home run, four runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Brianna Ramirez, who went 4-for-4 with four RBI and two doubles.
