Varnum is 10-0 against Macomb since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Varnum Whippets are taking a road trip to square off against the Macomb Hornets at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Saturday, Varnum was able to grind out a solid win over Glencoe, taking the game 46-38.

Meanwhile, Macomb had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 39-32 victory over the Bulldogs.

Varnum is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Macomb, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Varnum strolled past Macomb when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a score of 53-34. Will Varnum repeat their success, or does Macomb have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
