Basketball Game Preview: Grady Bronchos vs. Fort Sumner/House

Grady is 1-8 against Fort Sumner/House since December of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Grady Bronchos will face off against Fort Sumner/House at 7:00 p.m. Grady will be strutting in after a victory while Fort Sumner/House will be coming in after a loss.

On Thursday, Grady blew past Carrizozo, posting a 53-6 win. That 47 point margin sets a new team best for the Bronchos this season.

Meanwhile, Fort Sumner/House played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 63-38 to Portales. Fort Sumner/House's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Grady's victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Fort Sumner/House, their loss dropped their record down to 13-4.

Grady was dealt a bruising 65-27 defeat at the hands of Fort Sumner/House when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Can Grady avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
