South Whidbey extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Colten Smith. The South Whidbey Falcons simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Tyee Titans 60-18 thanks in part to Smith, who went 8 for 11 on his way to 17 points in addition to six steals and five assists. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.

The team also got some help courtesy of Robby Sullivan, who posted four points. Sullivan is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

South Whidbey's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Tyee, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Whidbey will venture away from home to square off against La Conner at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. South Whidbey is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.7 points per game this season. As for Tyee, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Summit Classical Christian School at 7:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
