Washington got themselves on the board against Metamora on Wednesday, but Metamora never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Redbirds. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matches by six runs or more this season.

Washington has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-10 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Metamora, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-20.

Looking ahead, Washington will face off against Geneseo at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Metamora does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
