Volleyball Recap: Sublette Comes Up Short

Sublette was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Wichita County Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 two weeks ago.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-5.

Wichita County found their leader in freshman Emerson Biermann, who had eight aces. Those eight aces set a new season-high mark for Biermann.

Sublette's defeat dropped their record down to 4-25. As for Wichita County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-15 record this season.

Sublette didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Syracuse on the 11th. As for Wichita County, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Elkhart on the 7th.
