Football Recap: Air Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Air Academy fell victim to Durango and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 41-0 loss at the hands of the Demons. While losing is never fun, the Kadets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado football rankings (they are ranked 85th, while the Demons are ranked 20th).

Durango was led to victory by Grady Feeney and Gus Halls. Feeney threw for 146 yards and three TDs while completing 72.7% of his passes, while Halls rushed for 118 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 12 carries. The dominant performance also gave Feeney a new career-high in passer rating (154.4).

Air Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Durango, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2.

Air Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 42-0 defeat against Vista Ridge on the 24th. As for Durango, they have also already played their next game, a 63-12 victory against Liberty on the 24th.
