Lincoln County piles up the points against Taliaferro County

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Washington County, the Lincoln County Red Devils were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They breezed by Taliaferro County at home to the tune of 60-22. That looming 60-22 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Lincoln County yet this season.

Leading Lincoln County to victory were Mekhi Wade and Jaiden Dukes. Wade scored 13 points, while Dukes scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carlin "RJ" Crite, who scored eight points.

Lincoln County's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Taliaferro County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-11.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Washington-Wilkes the next time they take the court. Lincoln County will head out to face Washington-Wilkes at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Taliaferro County will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
