Pine Lake Prep waltzed into their match on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victors by an 18-3 margin over the Bradford Prep Bears. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 18-3 on April 8th.

Emery Jensen made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in ten consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

In other batting news, Sydney Gillmore was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Ava Cornacchione, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Pine Lake Prep was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .857. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in eight consecutive contests.

Pine Lake Prep's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Bradford Prep, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.

Pine Lake Prep didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 17-0 win against Langtree Charter Academy on the 28th. As for Bradford Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 21-2 defeat against Mountain Island Charter on the 25th.
