Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Milpitas walked away with it. They came out on top against the Sequoia Ravens by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The victory was nothing new for the Trojans as they're now sitting on four straight.

Milpitas had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-18, 25-15, 25-21.

Milpitas' win bumped their record up to 21-9. As for Sequoia, their defeat ended a five-match streak of away wins and brought them to 22-15.

Milpitas wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Menlo-Atherton on the 8th. Sequoia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
