Brighton entered their tilt with Crockett County on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Cavaliers. The Cardinals were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Cavaliers, so the Cardinals were just returning the favor.

Taylor Simpson paced Brighton's offense, picking up seven kills. Simpson got some help from Greta Garrett and her 19 assists. Briley Bennett controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Brighton's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Crockett County, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 3-1.

Brighton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Millington Central on the 23rd. As for Crockett County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Tipton-Rosemark Academy on the 22nd.
