Sinton waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They walked away with an 8-4 victory over the Goliad Tigers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Pirates also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Sinton saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Julian Suarez, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

Sinton pushed their record up to 14-5-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Goliad, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.

Sinton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 5-0 win against Cuero on the 1st. As for Goliad, they have also already played their next contest, a 10-0 victory against Luling on the 1st.
