Soccer Game Preview: Valencia vs. Fullerton

The Valencia Tigers will challenge the Fullerton Indians at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Fullerton took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Valencia, who comes in off a win.

Valencia's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over Tustin. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Fullerton was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Godinez Fundamental. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Indians couldn't quite close it out.

Valencia is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 36 goals over those ten games. As for Fullerton, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
