Baseball Game Preview: Burr Oak Bobcats vs. Athens Indians

The Burr Oak Bobcats will take on the Athens Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Burr Oak can't be too happy about their upcoming road matchup considering what happened when they opened their season away from home on Thursday. They lost 10-0 to Mendon. The Bobcats have struggled against the Hornets recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, Athens was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against Camden-Frontier, falling 26-2.

Burr Oak beat Athens 7-3 when the teams last played back in May of 2022. Will the Bobcats repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
