Football Game Preview: Rockdale County Bulldogs vs. Archer Tigers + How To Watch

Rockdale County is 0-5 against Archer since October of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Bulldogs will host the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Rockdale County will bounce into Friday's game after beating Heritage, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Bulldogs enjoyed a cozy 38-21 win over the Patriots on Friday.

Meanwhile, Archer came up short against Newton last Friday and fell 42-35. The Tigers have struggled against the Rams recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Rockdale County will have to contain Jordan Do as he made an impact in Archer's last game. He rushed for 168 yards and a pair of scores, and also threw for 254 yards and three touchdowns. Do has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last four times he's played. A healthy portion of Do's aerial production (85 yards to be exact) went to Jayden Davis, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Rockdale County pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.3 points over those games. As for Archer, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
